Honors English II is a world literature course in which students will read, discuss, and write about both classical and contemporary authors through which students will identify cultural significance. Through required selections from the textbook and supplementary book list, the students will examine world literature in a cultural context to appreciate the diversity and complexity of world issues and to connect global ideas to their own experience.
*Pre-AP is more rigorous, holds higher student expectations, and is designed to prepare students to be successful in AP courses. There is an increased focus on critical thinking, rhetoric, and writing skills.
